Frontline Managed Services announced on October 6, 2026 that it had acquired KL Software Technologies Inc. and its affiliate KLoBot, Inc. This acquisition led to the launch of a new business unit, Frontline Intelligent Applications, aiming to enhance law firms’ use of technology, data, and AI.

KL Software Technologies, founded by Ragav Jagannathan, brings over a decade of experience in Microsoft Cloud, software engineering, legal applications, and AI. Jagannathan has 25 years of SharePoint expertise and has contributed to more than 300 SharePoint implementations for Am Law 100 firms and Fortune 100 legal departments.

Frontline Intelligent Applications will offer strategic advisory, professional services, managed application services, and connected legal applications to law firms. Proprietary KL Software applications such as KLapper, Legal101, netDocShare, and imDocShare are set to be integrated into Frontline’s portfolio, broadening the technology solutions available to clients.

The acquisition builds upon a strategic partnership between Frontline and KL Software announced earlier in 2026. Tim Britt, CEO of Frontline Managed Services, said combining Frontline’s operational expertise with KL Software’s engineering prowess will enable firms to use technology and data more intelligently to accelerate operations and improve business outcomes. Meanwhile, Ragav Jagannathan noted that joining Frontline allows his team to scale their innovation while delivering broader advisory and managed services to law firms.

While financial terms were not disclosed, the deal positions Frontline to compete more strongly in the evolving legal technology services market, which continues to consolidate around AI-driven managed solutions. Frontline Managed Services has nearly 40 years supporting law firm operations, and KL Software serves more than 30 Am Law firms with over 35 intranet portals implemented in the last three years.
